Peter Howson is an internationally renowned, award-winning artist who, like Burns, hails from Ayrshire, Scotland. His powerful figurative work has made him one of the foremost British artists of his generation.
Celebrities including Madonna, Mick Jagger and David Bowie count Howson paintings amongst their private collections. Howson also unveiled nude pictures of Madonna in 2002. His art work has also appeared on album covers by The Beautiful South for the album Quench, Live’s Throwing Copper and Jackie Leven’s Fairytales for Hardmen.
