Own a Major Work by Peter Howson For £10.00
One completely original, as yet unseen major work by renowned artist Peter Howson - inspired by Robert Burns.
And it could be yours for £10.
World famous artist Peter Howson has exclusively created a brand new Burns-inspired major work in honour of the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, set to open in Alloway in 2010.
With £4million still to raise to secure the future development of the Museum and safekeeping of thousands of Burns artefacts, this is your chance to support the fundraising efforts of the National Trust for Scotland and own a little bit of an original Peter Howson painting yourself – and be entered in the draw to win the whole piece.
So how does it work?
All you have to do is click to purchase as many pieces of the painting as you wish (adding a personal message if desired), then answer the simple Burns-related question. Each piece is priced at £10.00 and you can buy them for you or for a friend, with all money raised going straight to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.
When you have answered the simple Burns-related question correctly and completed your purchase, your details will be entered into the Prize Draw to win the incredible painting in its entirety. The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum will launch in Summer 2010 with the Howson piece on temporary display until it is handed over to the winner a month following the launch.
With Howson work of this size (6ft x 4ft) selling for upwards of £50,000 – it could be the best £10.00 you’ve ever spent…
